Bouclier Anti-Arnaque extension — Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026

In short

The Bouclier Anti-Arnaque Chrome extension collects, stores and transmits no personal data.

Data Controller

Valentin Limited — contact@arnaques-rencontres.fr

Data Collected

1. Message analysis

The text you paste into the extension is analysed locally, inside your browser. It is never sent to a server and never stored.

2. Reverse image search

When you choose “Check this photo”, the image URL is passed to the engine you select (Yandex, Google Lens or TinEye) by opening a new tab to that engine, exactly as if you pasted the URL yourself. The extension neither intercepts nor stores anything. The image is then handled under the selected engine’s own privacy policy.

3. No other tracking

  • No account, no sign-up.
  • No cookies, no trackers, no ads.
  • No browsing data collected.

Permissions

The extension requests a single permission, contextMenus, used only to add the “Check this photo” entry to the right-click menu on images. It does not access page content and injects no scripts.

Your Rights (GDPR)

Because the extension collects no personal data, there is nothing on our side to access, rectify or delete. For any question: contact@arnaques-rencontres.fr. Supervisory authority: CNIL — www.cnil.fr.

Changes

This policy may change as the extension evolves. Any change will be posted on this page. See also the site-wide privacy policy.
